COVID-19 Safety Updates

At OnCue, we’ve always valued safety, a value that is more important than ever before.

Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, we've stayed focused on serving as an essential provider as safely as possible, including making some important changes to our cleaning, personal protection, social distancing protocols and more.

As different local health authorities implement different rules, regulations and suggestions to help combat COVID-19, we will continue to adjust our offerings and practices based on different health threats that we are facing in each location as recommended by local officials.

Cleaning and Sanitization

We’ve always prided ourselves on maintaining clean and organized stores, but with the arrival of COVID-19, we had to think of cleaning our stores in a new way. We quickly launched new training programs for all associates focused on increased, effective cleaning procedures, including having an employee always dedicated to cleaning shared surfaces. We put hand sanitizing stations at the main entrances of stores and ensure that the stations remain highly visible. We continue to work to provide free masks for all customers while ensuring we don’t impact the supply of the medical community.

Social distancing

We enhanced social distancing procedures to further support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, such as adding overhead announcements, store signage, floor markers, and customer and associate guidelines to emphasize the importance of social distancing as well as a renewed focus on making sure everyone’s visit is fast and friendly.

Personal Protection

Over the past few months, we have worked to understand how public health guidelines from the CDC and local officials could be put into action in our stores. These measures included installing customized plexiglass shields at all points of sale to protect our customers and associates. We also require masks for all our associates and have even more frequent hand washing standards. We have also implemented wellness checks before each shift. Employees have their temperature taken and are asked questions such as have you had direct exposure, are you experiencing symptoms and more.

Alternative Shopping

We’ve also taken our out-of-store experiences to a whole new level to give customers more ways to shop with us. We’ve added curbside delivery from The Grill and our drive-thrus also continue to be a good, safe option for many.
